Ok, since I was asked, this is just a sample psd of how I’ve been coloring (almost everything) lately. A lot of it is just playing with color balance and selective coloring, then some (sometimes a lot of) vibrance. Sometimes I’ll use a brush to paint in the background or something to make it look more vibrant, it just depends on the cap.

It works on some caps, not all though (I only tried it on Chuck and Glee caps). I don’t think it works on really bright caps, but if you play around with it, it might (there’s a lot of layers, so it may work). I tried it on some photoshoot pictures and it worked too. I had to burn/smudge small parts of the caps, because the coloring can make it look kind of grainy/pixel-y, but that’s up to you.
